Throughout her career, she had worked extensively with leading financial institutions, including CIMB Bank Berhad, Malayan Banking Berhad, AmBank (M) Berhad, Hong Leong Bank Berhad, RHB, Public Bank Berhad, and OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad handling a wide range of banking and loan-related transactions. Her experience includes preparing and reviewing financing documents, facilitating loan disbursements, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations and legal requirements. She has assisted clients in securing housing and commercial loans, refinancing facilities, and corporate financing arrangements, ensuring that all agreements are structured to protect their interests. Ellie graduated from the University of London with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in 2018 and obtained her Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) in 2019. She was subsequently called to the High Court of Malaya as an Advocate and Solicitor in 2020. Ellie gained extensive experience in conveyancing, particularly in property-related acquisitions and disposals. She also practised in civil litigation, handling matrimonial proceedings, will drafting and estate distribution matters. Currently, Ellie specializes in corporate and commercial law, with a focus on equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate advisory. She has advised clients across various industries, including real estate, fintech, and technology startups.
